Fourth Game
Norway needs to score a lot of goals tonite when the play Northern Ireland tonite at 9:00 PM. Because of Canada's 10-1 win over Poland on Monday night, and because of Ukraine's 8-3 win over Northern Ireland, Norway needs to win 7-0 or score more than 7 to advance to the quarterfinal round of the WCP CUP.

Norway came out strong yesterday and pulled off the 10-0 win over Northern Ireland. That win not only put Norway in first place in their pool, but it also bumped Canada to second place and knocked Ukraine out of playoff contention. Norway's next game (quarterfinal match) will be played Thursday evening.

Third Game
Norway looks to bounce back from their loss on Saturday as they take on Ukraine on Sunday at 5:00 PM. An update of this game will be provided later Sunday evening.

Norway takes on Canada today at 12:00 PM. An update will be provided later on today.

Norway suffered their first loss of the tournament today. Some of the reffing was questionable; however, Norway just didn't play as well as they should have. The game ended with a 3-2 loss for the Norwegians.

First Game
Norway takes on Poland tonight @ 9:00PM. This post will be updated later with the result and breakdown of the game.
*Update*
It took Norway a while to shake off a bit of rust and first-game nerves, but once they scored the first goal, everything began falling into place. They could have finished off some more of their chances during the course of the game; however, they did manage to finish off some nice ball movement. The final score was 5-2 for Norway.

Opening Night
Tonight is the night that the WCP CUP gets underway at the Credit Union Eventplex at Ipsco Place. The night will begin with the opening ceremonies at 6:30PM, followed by the following games:
Republic of Ireland vs. Austria - 7:30PM
Chile vs. Germany (Women's) - 8:30PM
Canada vs. Ukraine - 9:30PM
Jamaica vs. Scotland - 10:30PM

Exibition Game
Norway will play the Republic of Ireland on Monday, April 23rd @ 7:00PM. This will be the second exibition match between the two sides this month.
*Update*
It was a hard fought, chippy battle between ROI and Norway. You could tell there was a lot of bad blood between the both sides. The end result was 2-1 loss for Norway.
